"It's true, downloading music doesn't feel like stealing."
Probably because it is NOT stealing. It's copyright infringement.
Does it feel like stealing when you borrow a book from a library/ Does it feel like stealing when you fast forward over ads with a VCR? Does it feel like stealing when you post the entire content of an NY Times article on your blog because you think it's historically important and you know you can't link to it in 30 days?
Just because the RIAA, known liars and panderers, claim something is stealing doesn't make it so.

The RIAA doesn't simply 'claim' it is stealing. They also bought the best law money can buy from the best politicians money can buy.
