I've been weightlifting for over 4 years, and using a Kettlebell for 1 and 1/2 years. I can say that the kettlebell is an EXCELLENT strength training tool as well as well as helping to lose weight and/or gain muscle mass.
If you or someone you know was injured using it, that means they:
I recently moved to Chicago and am looking for places to continue my kettlebell training. I found one, but it's really far away from my apartment. Any suggestions as to where I can find fellow kettlebellers?
Actually, he was working out with a kettleball and decided to lift it over his head and fell over backwards. However, he was unaware as he prepared his lift that a young Russian girl was walking behind him. He fell on her and grieviously injured her. Just as he did so her father, an ex-Russian soldier, returned from his trip to McDonalds, just a few minutes before he thought he was supposed to pick her up from cheerleading practice. He saw this oaf endanger his daughter's life and choaked on his french fries in anger. Both father and daughter were rushed to the hospital, and the mother was contacted to come meet them there. RedEx had slipped a disk and was in a room a few doors down. Unfortunately for him, the mother was a Russian hockey player, and, learning of what had happened, retreaved her hockey stick from the car and beat him into a coma with it.

If you or someone you know was injured using it, that means they:
1. Didn't know what they were doing.
2. Weren't concentrating on their form.
3. Were trying to do too much too fast.
This can happen with any form of exericse.
Don't choke on your fries fatso.
