Unfogged makes way better use of empty space and the color scheme is easier on the eyes - it's much easier to read than En Banc. Or apostropher. I covet your clean layout, but having gotten my site to function correctly, I'm afraid to change anything, since I use html the way a chicken plays tic-tac-toe.
Thanks. Of course, just about all the credit for the look of this site goes to Burke & Wells, from whom we ripped it off entirely. I have changed from tables to CSS (it was no picnic recreating the look in CSS--I too am a hack), and changed the colors a bit. But readability was a big concern, so I'm glad you think it's easy to read.
You'll get the redesign bug sooner or later. One weekend and you'll have it looking the way you want. Maybe.
Except it looks more like a magazine than a blog. Is that a problem? To me it is. I think yours is cleaner, more sophisticated, if not as slick.

Seriously though, yours is definitely the most readable blog out there. I wish I had more white space... I guess we'll see.
