You know, if Kerry blows it, I will be so deeply pissed at him, even though I won't be mad at Bush, because by this point I see him as more or less a primordial force of evil, not an intentional agent. Healthy, that.

Also, I think your unfair to Kerry. He can't 'blow it' -- he's the underdog. You can 'blow it' by losing to Bob Dole, not by losing to a (fairly popular) incumbant. This is a winnable race for the democrats, but it is anything but a sure thing.
