OK, so maybe they weren't ignoring it completely (although they've produced no evidence of this), then they're guilty of knowing the danger and doing absolutely nothing! Doesn't sound much better to me. Which do you want, a White House willfully ignorant, or a White House guilty of gross negligence in the inaction?
