what i think is, "i wonder if this is another dirty trick by karl rove?" if you haven't read the book or seen the video (i've done the latter), i refer you to "bush's brain"
There's always some low-level vandalism, etc, in a political season, more so in a tight presidential race. The level on both sides seems greater than ever before (for sporadic roundups of Republican thuggery, try http://dneiwert.blogspot.com/), and it's hard to keep score. Both sides deserve a slap for letting the situation get to a point where the rhetoric is this heated and people are this deeply divided..... but I'm going to go ahead and say that I think Republicans are both ahead on violence and on violence-inspiring rhetoric.
