I hesitate to expose myself further to the pround man's contumely and the insolence of office, but shouldn't "Really, it does" be inside the parentheses?
That was a good initial effort, Matt, but next time be more firm! Just tell ogged, or whomever, that there's a mistake. And be sure to proof your own comment! You don't want the target of your criticism coming back with some mote/beam crap.
I'm at work and my monitor faces the door so I can't get the exact URL now, but if you go to harmful.org and follow the link to the Tokyo section, then go to the current page, you'll find a link that reproduces the rap battle between Gandalf and the Balrog that culminated in the Balrog's defeat (B for bitchin', A for ass-kickin' / L for the long-ass whip you're lickin' / R for the rhymes, O for overpowerin' / G for the gold in my plus-three gold-showerin')
Still, 2 possibilities exist.

I've emerged from a whole minute of tears of laughter to say:
"that poem made me laugh for a whole minute."
And it did, too

FWIW, I've become a AOTW evangelist - I used it, without explanation, on a comment elsewhere.

"Pround"= proud and round. Got a problem with that?
Posted by Matt Weiner | Link to this comment | 02-21-05 8:39 AM
You give in on one little thing: "sure Matt, we'll go with AOTW, no problem. If it makes you happy . . . "
But then he starts pushing all kinds of nonsense.
Pround?
NO I say! We have to draw a line here.

Um, #17 wasn't me. It was probably ooged.

By "for real" I meant simply that "MC Weiner" is my real name (i.e., my middle initial is 'C'). Sucka.

Pfft. What you "meant" or "intended to communicate" clearly has no bearing.
