I looked at about 10 of those and not one of them failed to appear extremely nasty. This, on the other hand, while it merely randomly takes you to a pre-existing recipe and doesn't randomly generate a new one, at least sometimes yields non-disgusting results.
Nice to get back actual drinks, wolfson, but the Mixilator thing there is wack. You click the 'easy to prepare' option and it keeps returning drinks with South African naartjes liqueur or Unicum.
I'm with bitchphd, I'll take the scotch and leave the milk powder behind. Or maybe I'll throw it in with the first drink that popped up - couldn't make it worse. Sort of a Pernod egg-cream.
I'm with bitchphd. Now if they had specified non-dairy creamer, that would be a different matter (but only in that it would probably be an oblique reference to the Big Lebowski, and therefore acceptable as such, but not as something to actually drink).
That said, scotch and (real) milk is a perfectly nice drink, with a long pedigree. My general m.o. with regard to cocktails is to regard anything that came out after about, oh, say 1950 with deep suspicion, verging on disdain.
Unless that's all that's available to drink, of course.
I've been reading The World of Mr. Mulliner, and one of the habitues at the Angler's Rest is a Scotch and Milk. Mulliner himself is a Hot Scotch and Lemon. I am partial to cosmos and other, can I say "stereotypically girly"?, drinks when I want to get happy in a hurry.
And how could I have let this go so far without posting this link? Take that!

Really, what is the point? Pour some damn scotch in a glass and drink that.

Are you telling me this wouldn't be easy to prepare, assuming you had the ingredients? (Though it's basically the same as a White Lady.)

Mmmm, Pernod, Campari and Dr. Pepper.
The second was Scotch and Milk (instant).
I didn't dare click a third time.

Scotch and instant milk?!?! Ok, fuck liberalism, someone deserves the death penalty there.

Or if it's free.

That's a great site, Matt.
So you're a girl drink drunk, huh? Unfortunately, I didn't see any recipes for a Chocolate Choo Choo.

Hmm. In that skit, Kevin McDonald is using my real name.

incl. Miller, apo? (Mitch, I actually only like thin girl drinks--cosmos and whiskey sours, no Chocolate choo choos or white russians or whathave.)

Apostropher, I'll have you know I espied a bottle of naartjes liqueur at Kimbark Liquors last night, and that place ain't exactly upscale.

Compared to downtown Durham, NC?

Definitely, Labs. (Ted thinks he knows your supersecret ID, BTW.)
