I wasn't thinking about this when I typed it out above, but I think the term "frathaus" might be a good way to describe the eruditely puerile humor that is our stock and trade here. It makes it sound more like an artistic movement than the mundane "frathouse". As in, "sure we tell a lot of cock jokes, but we're not like them. My inner Beavis is ironic."
