OK, everybody stay in their seats, this thread is being hijacked. If you keep quiet and follow all our instructions nothing will happen to you and you might even enjoy your stay at the destination to where we redirect this thread:
Is there a way to make it so only the post shows in the reader then once you click on the link to the post, it shows the post + links on one page? I hope that makes sense.
I'm pretty sure Tara means the link to the post in the RSS reader going to an individual archive rather than an anchored spot in a weekly/monthly archive.
I like that the posts are found in context. That's all, really. I get annoyed on sites where I have to hit back/forward to see the recent post they're talking about, or when I'm trying to figure out the running joke of the week.
Ogged, I regret to inform you that by now the comments are the context.
Actually, the fact that when you look at the comments you can't see the post hinders comprehension on this blog much less than it would on any other. (None of this is intended as a slam on the posts.)

I wasn't taking it that way, right up until you said that.
Have you noticed that Alameida's posts, which are the only proper posts here of late, usually get fewer comments? I guess that's a sign of respect, or something.
Totally unconnected, but I notice that Abu, whilst denying us the pleasure of his posts, has found the energy or time to comment at J. Galt's. What's up with that? Maybe you need to recruit another BwO, but gargantuan this time, to get FL back.

Ah, geek that I am, I've been waiting for an RSS feed with comments. Awesome.

Not sure what you mean. Specifically, what do you mean by "links?"

Ah, if that is what you mean, Tara, then the answer is that it's possible, but I don't even have a template for individual posts, and don't want one.
Posted by ogged | Link to this comment | 04- 1-05 11:23 AM
Just out of curiosity, why don't you want one?

Damn, ogged, feeling a little bitchy today?

No, why? You wanna go shopping?
Posted by ogged | Link to this comment | 04- 1-05 2:33 PM
Ok, that made me laugh. It's stupid, and I don't quite get it, but it made me laugh.

Another possible motto for the blog.

"Gargantuan" is not a shot at Galt, just sounded better on first reading than "really tall." On second reading, less so.

Gargaltuan?

I'm ok with my slutty co-bloggers. But adding another is a thought I've been having lately.

I'm not sure I'm ok with slutty co-bloggers posting smoothie recipes though.

I think my co-blogger Froz has just pulled ahead of both Bob and Unf in the Least Postingest Co-Blogger sweepstakes.
Posted by apostropher | Link to this comment | 04- 1-05 3:06 PM
Maybe I'll just throw him onto the sidebar here, and by not posting to two blogs at once, he can run away with the title.
Posted by ogged | Link to this comment | 04- 1-05 3:07 PM
Doesn't Bob not post to three blogs at once?
Posted by ben wolfson | Link to this comment | 04- 1-05 3:13 PM
Those blogs aren't active anymore, I think, so they don't count.
Posted by ogged | Link to this comment | 04- 1-05 3:20 PM
That makes for a perfect stylistic match, though.
Posted by apostropher | Link to this comment | 04- 1-05 3:30 PM
Yeah, he's definitely the primary blogger on those.
Posted by ogged | Link to this comment | 04- 1-05 3:31 PM
I'm totally intended to post more, you know. If that counts for anything.
Posted by FL | Link to this comment | 04- 1-05 3:34 PM
Dude, this is the enabler blog, it counts for everything!

At a minimum, you'd think he could use the Gayatolla psued- in those cases.
