Allow me to be a little jaded here. They had a wheel stuck sideways. They flew around to burn up fuel to reduce the chance of fire. The pilot landed back wheels first which is how they normally do it, no?
So what's the deal? And don't they put down foam anymore.
"This is your captain speaking... Sorry, that landing was a little shaky, wasn't it? Let's go back up and try it again."
(Am I right?)

I'm sure you're stressed. Maybe you should have Wolfson over to pour you a drink and rub some warmed oil into your shoulders.

On the one hand, Jet Blue's reputation has been strengthened. A very nicely done landing.
On the other hand, advertising like that no one needs.
I'll bet that folks in Toulouse have been up pretty late and they'll be getting a bunch more questions. The nose gear is NOT supposed to do that.
Me, I'm flying United to IAD-LAX this weekend.

What are you saying, Ogged. Were you ON that flight?

I was not on the flight. Ignore Michael.

I would have blogged the crap out of it if I had been, though.

I belatedly realized that.
