He is in a bit of a spot, though. At this point, he's blustered about as much as he can -- if he keeps on talking without doing anything concrete, he will gradually look more and more ineffectual. I hate to see this run its course, but I'm not expecting to see a lot more out of him.
the only way to keep this going would be if he committed some other buffoonish act. We keep watching the office because the boss -- whatsisname -- keeps behaving like an ass.
I have no doubt that PD will continue to behave like an ass; he just needs to keep blogging about his personal affairs to let us in on the joke.
I put Paul up to this lawsuit thing in a desparate gambit to get Ogged and Bitch back together, because I knew that when Bitch did the inevitable post about how the children would be happy, my blog traffic would spike.
I also offered to sell Paul Bitch's identity, but he didn't believe that her real name was Fontana Labs.
Ogged, gd that blogpulse trends tool is *fun*. It lends it self to several games: Try to get a high score (my best average is about 50% after a few tries), try to get lines that cross the most, try to get lines whose values' ordering reverses over time. And I never liked stats...
Hey, from the email that's actually Mr. B. Hi! (I can't get Mr. Breath to read any of this, leaving me with a lot of stories that start "Someone you're entirely unfamiliar with said something that was terribly clever, but incomprehensible if you haven't been paying attention for the last six weeks." These are generally not successful stories.)
he also isn't posting anymore, which could account for that. Come back, PD! You are fascinating and amusing!

Considering that the spike on that graph appears to represent 15 blog posts...

Y'know, it's all about relative importance.

Taco blogging.
(totally NSFW)

Since I'm at work, are those soft tacos or crunchy tacos?
Posted by apostropher | Link to this comment | 11-11-05 12:52 PM
It's like it's giving you the finger (instead of the other way 'round, I guess). (Also totally NSFW, and it's big picture, too.)

Someone speculated that Paul stopped blogging because he received a cease and desist.
Posted by Sam K | Link to this comment | 11-11-05 12:54 PM
Well, that would be delicious irony, wouldn't it? Even more delicious than tacos.

I should doubt it, if you mean that in any legal sense. Possibly from his school, but not from the authorities.
Posted by LizardBreath | Link to this comment | 11-11-05 12:55 PM
Depends on the kind of taco, I guess.
Posted by ben wolfson | Link to this comment | 11-11-05 12:57 PM
9. soft tacos, i suppose.

Ahem. That's twice, Smasher.

Maybe you should give it flowers?
Just click it again in the URL once you get the access-denied message. Alternately, it's the enlarged (swollen, engorged) pic from this post.

Notice that unfogged's traffic has had one...two...three...NINE spikes followed by a larger climax.
Posted by FL | Link to this comment | 11-11-05 1:16 PM
we don't compare well with taco, though.

This shit was fun to follow for a while, but now he sounds like an L&O: Criminal Intent case. He says someone threatened his wife?

Ain't that the truth, and yet I keep trying to tell them to my wife as well.

31 - But it helps you run out the clock on your half-hour conversation about what you did that day so, in that way, it is a successful story.
