I think you're wrong, Ogged. She's more tanned and shiny in photo 1, making light reflect off her in flattering ways. Photo 2 seems to be framed to focus on her stomach, so it's impossible to judge proportions. And that's an ugly bikini.
Argh, I see on preview that others have made all my points. I'm posting this anyway, so there.
I prefer pale to tanned and oily anyway. Also, in general, front views to back views. And in this picture you can see that she's very pretty and has a nice smile. The bikini doesn't provide push-and-thrust action, but not everyone can be Queen of England--that's the way they're supposed to be. Her midsection does not look like a rigid machine-tooled surface but I refuse to count that a flaw.
She doesn't look all that different to me in those two photos. Okay, maybe she's slightly heavier in the second photo, but I think that's just bc I'm looking for it now. As people have noted, different photo situations may affect how she appears. I agree w/Weiner that she looks like a perfectly healthy, attractive, happy, realistic person in the 2nd photo. And hott. And I'm not gay. AFAIK. I think a little extra something something on one's body contributes to hottness. You need something to hold on to and who wants to hold onto all kinds of angularity?
How the hell did the word "thrust" wind up in 20? Maybe I was thinking of "upthrust."
Last night I was reading a novel in which a woman wears a too-small bra for possibly related purposes, but the word used there was "uplift." (Note: Ensuing activities are less pleasurable than Buckley's.)
(Or I could claim that I assumed "chubby" was meant as some kind of putative gender-neutral sense of arousal and "teh ghey" was meant in the sense of "the ghey or not the ghey, as appropriate.)
I agree w/Weiner that she looks like a perfectly healthy, attractive, happy, realistic person in the 2nd photo.
What I was saying above was she looks realistic in the photo, and I should've added 'she'd be really thin in real life.'
And hott.
Ze photo lacks ze toe.
I think a little extra something something on one's body contributes to hottness. You need something to hold on to and who wants to hold onto all kinds of angularity?
Armsmasher in 34: the "push and thrust" in most of those links isn't what I originally had in mind in 20. Or, maybe it is, but it isn't what I meant to say.
(My guess is that he's looking for 'and' phrases that are humorous in the context, perhaps for not quite fitting, but somewhat relevant. "Divide and conquer" because, well, there's two, and PB&J, let's just say you should avoid the crunchy. But neither of them is quite a sequitur. OTOH I know that I cannot match the apostropher's fine mind.)
I question your judgment.

7 - yes, especially if tanned and oiled as in the old shot.
Posted by Chopper | Link to this comment | 11-30-05 9:53 AM
Given that 2D pictures effectively add 10 to 20 pounds, she's gone from borderline anoxeric to very very thin.

Posted by washerdreyer | Link to this comment | 11-30-05 10:20 AM
I agree with JM that the bikini in the new picture is really ugly.
Her stomach does look a bit pudgy, but pale skin maximizes flaws in a way that tanned skin doesn't.
And it's not fair to compare a front shot with a back shot.
All of these points have (more or less) been made already, but I didn't see them coming from a female commenter.
