i like the giggling of the crew off-camera. and imagining o'reilly's jowls reddening, quivering w/ rage, as he composes tonight's devastating retort in the talking points.
btw, is there any name for the language he uses for that (pretty much the same as the news-crawl)?
Idunno, I thought that was moderately funny but not outstandingly funny. I'm still waiting for the moment when someone skewers O'Reilly in an undeniably true and undeniably hilarious way that prompts every observer to realize that he is a tremendous buffoon and bully who has long exhausted his fifteen minutes. A boy can dream.

I was hoping his Letterman appearance would have been the skewering (damn, that's hard to spell right on the first try) that FL is hoping for, but it seems not to have been.
Yeah, Letterman pretty much punted, aside from the 60% crap line. What you were waiting for, Labs, would have happened if Andrea Mackis had taken her suit to trial, rather than settling.
It'd have been cool if Jeremy Glick (http://www.why-war.com/files/2003/07/oreilyfreakout.html) round about the moment O'Reilly started telling him to 'shut up, shut up' had shown a little less restraint and just knocked seven sorts of shit out of the guy...
loofah.

Dammit apostropher, stop abdicating your role as the hero.

Sorry. Apostropher is the hero! Olbermann is the sidekick!

i would like to see him physically beaten by terry gross. that may be deniably hilarious, though.

I agree with FL, except that for all I know such skewering has taken place and I simply failed to hear about it.

Maybe one reason I'm still waiting is that I don't have cable.

Was she the one subjected to the felafel call?

Yeah, and I think her name was actually Mackris.
