"...and, unsurprisingly, some funny comments from Roy...."
I miss the days when I was on his blogroll. He once showed me the linky love, for years, but then I was cut off. I apparently became impure. I've sniffled ever since.
It's the same old story, a tale of love and glory. Rejection. Bafflement. The late sobs at night.
Gary, You had soem gret comments for a while and were interactig very well with everyone for a while. It does not elicit compassion and does you no good.
Stop with the blog self-pity bit. (If you want to vent about your horrible landlord and the stress over teh apartment, we're all glad to listen.)
I'm saying this, not to hurt you or to be snide, but because I think you're capable of change and don't want to alienate a lot of other people.
I think that the Zionists should've taken some moves from the Mormon playbook -- rewrite things so that the US is the promised land, and then move in. You can kind of tell that they would love to have their own "Trail of Tears" for those damn Injun/Palestinians, but there just isn't enough damn room!
I'm working, as of now, on a theory: Proficiency at critical thought is nota constant. It's natural state is instead dynamic, so that persons move through periods of intelligence and stupidity. Further, it seems some people flux way more than others. Either this theory is true, or I'm just baffled by how someone exhibiting "reasoning" this awful could become a law professor.
Can we agree that the wingnuts going through increasingly difficult contortions to justify both the invasion and its present effects should be known as the "360s"?
I'm with BG. Ironic or not, is there a significant minority of threads where Gary's response doesn't include, at some point, a lament as to whether someone reads his blog?

But, Roy: we used to share a template.

you can almost taste the crazy.
he could have at least given djerejian credit for having the amazing courage to live in nyc, where he's constantly on the front lines of Teh Terror.

It might not be too late.

I'm reading that as funny, myself. Or at least I laughed at it.
I'll bet Hewitt favorite chat-up line online is "R U 180?"

Yeah, BG, I have to say: Gary sometimes overdoes it with the self-pity, or misses the mark on the ironic commentary. This is not one of those cases.
Hail, Sir d'Apostropher!

That's a good idea. The Book of Mormon says the Native Americans are Jews that boated over here. They'd just be reclaiming the homeland.

No, no! Let's encourage the wingnuts to broadcast the idea that Republicans are flip-flopping.
