Actually he was the promising kid, but tore knee ligaments and missed almost all of the 2004 season. Then in 2005 he was the promising kid but broke his ankle and missed almost all of the season, forcing this guy to step in as the starter, but returned for the playoffs. Now he's the promising kid again.
19: Let's see, since the beginning of the 2004 season, Matt Hasselbeck has 650 completions for 4645 yards and 52 TDs and has rushed for 246 yards and 2 TDs. Over the same span, Tim Hasselbeck has zero pass attempts and two rushes for -3 yards, so I'm guessing she's in on the secret.
You're going to have to supply a link for some of us. Um, is he a sports player of some kind?

He's a guy whose language and culture were repeatedly violated by the Chicago Bears. Also, he signed AEDPA into law.

'Da Bears are for real, people.

Chicago! Woot!

Yeah, that was impressive.

Seattle always seems shaky to me. I was pretty surprised to see them in the Superbowl last year. Where did Grossman come from, though?

He was the promising kid, but then broke his leg last year, if I'm remembering correctly. Now he's the promising kid again.

I don't see Grossman keeping this pace all season, but I will say he does remind me (this season) of Elway.
Anyone else see the Washington/Jacksonville matchup? I had seats on the 50-yard-line. Great game, even if the wrong team won.

The Monsters of the Midway are some kind of wonderful, ain't they?

So you're guaranteeing that Chicago won't win a Super Bowl during the next 13 years? Harsh, but probably accurate.

But then they'll win two in a row! So it's all good.

Hasselbeck's sister-in-law is foxy, foxy, foxy. But her politics are a bit off. Too bad.

If we engaged in these sorts of discussions, I would note that you are wrong.

With that front line, he just might. Only 3 sacks in four games. That will make a lot of quarterbacks look really good.

About her politics?
I confess I had a crush on her as far back as Survivor 2. The shame, the horror.

Oh, come on.

I wonder if she knows that she married the crappier quarterbeck.
