Sometimes I hate this fucking country.
In this particular case, because I watched that second video.
On the second video, the video quality is so poor and the music is just the right amount of loud for me to have absolutely NO idea what's going on, beyond the fact that he's clearly angry, and I think it's about the economy? Bail outs?
How long do mice live in mouse traps? Its legs are sort of seizing, so i kind of want to finish it off, if necessary. I was ok trying to attack it with my machete while it was still running, but now that its caught its sort of ick.
6: There's an amusing bit in the archives about this same sort of situation. gswift and B were at odds about what to do. I can't seem to find it and don't remember who had caught a mouse. Dammit!
My advice is to put the mouse trap, with mouse, into a plastic bag (but not a really thin one). Then apply foot (wear shoes). At least that's what I've ended up doing with mice caught in glue traps (in someone else's apartment).
i guess thats why married kids have cats - to avoid this sort of issue. avoidance coping is more work if someone is arguing with you about it.
Send it to the guy in the video. He'll know what to do.
oh now its bleeding out. i was sort of wanting a dog when i get a job and can get a better place, i assumed i'd get some sort of terrier size one just because it woudl be cleaner and smaller carbon^2. but this would be a good use for one .
You can plunge the trap into a pan of water. Mice have very small lung capacities. You did tie a string to the trap before setting it, no?
That second video's not particularly worse than CNBC.
You'd think the guy might at least acknowledge that it's thanks to America's high standard of living that he's got all that stuff to hit. Ingrate.
15: He acknowledges the American make of baseball bat, I think.
There's never a bad time to flail at something with your machete, yoyo.
No, see, it's that high standard of living that he's afraid Obama is going to destroy with his banker bailouts and deficit spending and Chinese imports.
That second video's not particularly worse than CNBC.
True, which is why it's so depressing.
Topically, I am watching Moon. This movie is fabulous! Why didn't anybody tell me?
I forgot to mention it. Intriguingly gritty look, and great performance by whatshisname.
Nobody likes the first link? I think it's a joke. I like jokes.
22: No, I didn't want to watch a Happy Tree Friends video.
Also, I just watched A Face in the Crowd. Fantastic! Especially when I realized it wasn't Ace in the Hole.
The first video's too bizarre for me to form any opinion of it.
Also, I just watched A Face in the Crowd. Fantastic!
I caught the first few minutes of that a few months ago. It looked really good - much better than I expected. Too bad I didn't have time to watch it though.
Ace in the Hole was pretty disappointing, but opened well, I thought.
I liked the first video, Stanley.
Good grief. Hammer, head, garbage, done.
27 to pretty much everything.
20: Just a couple days ago I thought, "Hey, whatever happened to that interesting-looking guy-on-the-moon movie? I wanted to see that."
The cabin where we go with friends every January has a DVD player, so I think I'm gonna bring Moon and Zombieland. Which one should we watch first?
oh, i didn't use that string trick. i just picked it up with kitchen tongs.
The blood puddle was a bigger problem, but some dried oxygen bleach and borax got it up.
That's why you put the trap in a thick enough plastic bag before crushing the cute little mouse.
