You're objecting to the existence of the book Tristam Shandy? AWB isn't going to like that.
How in the world could you possibly have come to that interpretation?
The film of Tristram Shandy was really good, and I'm looking forward to seeing The Trip
I choose my interpretations to maximize interpersonal conflict. Keeps it exciting.
I think Walt just called you a hipster, nosflow.
I eagerly await the arrival of Spike Milligan's The Third Policeman from a different and funnier universe.
3: too late, I realized that I could have titled this post "A Finn MacCool Story".
I found the idea of the Tristram Shandy movie concerning, but the execution was very good. What worries me is the upcoming CGI Paradise Lost starring Bradley Cooper as Satan. Sigh.

Ditto, ditto!
Whatever happened to the word "cinematic"? Perfectly good word.
Cinematic! And now in technicolor!
(Just saying: that's what happened to it).
Sheesh, it was young and it needed the money. Are we really going to hold that against it forever? It's not like "filmic" has been keeping any better company.
Another thumbs up for A Cock And Bull Story, or whatever it was called in the US. Doesn't mean this will be any good of course.

Probably a spinoff from the video game, right?
(googles)
Merciful God! You weren't joking!
I can see it, actually. Book VI has massive battle scenes with Michael and his archangels chucking mountains around. And the bit where they create the city of Pandemonium out of injection-moulded gold is probably going to look great.
I'm not worried that the Swim-Two-Birds description is a bit off - so they've decided to make the narrator a playwright instead of a novelist; it's an adaptation, they're allowed to do things like that.
