If a piece of string of indeterminate length falls in the forest, does it make a valid Boolean?
Professional associations have some of the worst websites. I just joined, or tried to join, one and didn't even get a confirmation/acknowledgement e-mail. I was told I'd get a receipt when the registration is complete. But I was also told to get a faculty member to e-mail some address to verify that I'm a student. I guess I should have written that info down instead of assuming more information would be sent to me.
Ben, did you see the phylo job listing site? I hope it helps kill the jfp.

No, no one tells me about these things any more (except you, apparently).
This is good news, since I can't access the online JFP for reasons which are probably apparent and I can't tell whether I succeeded in updating my address for the print JFP.
The only good thing about the APA's recent comedy of errors is that it's recognized and discussed as such. The phylo site could work really well.
Is this some kind of elaborate use/mention gag?
love you dawg to the infinite power. I second 10.
