Here's a recent story about the Raquel Nelson case. The reckless conduct charge has been dropped, but she's still on the hook for vehicular homicide (which seems kind of backwards to me, if you were going to drop just one charge).

I see a light in that first photo but no evidence of a crosswalk. Absent a crosswalk, I'd also cross away from the light; you only have to look for cars coming from one direction at a time, rather than potentially turning from several directions, including behind you.

Yeah, the infrastructure on this blog sucks. Why, just a couple of days ago a front page poster got hit by a mommy drive-by. We should take pictures to highlight the problem.
