People who "read" "feeds" (sounds disgusting) doubtless already knew, but I have to "click" on "links" when I'm not doing that even more profane thing, "entering" a "URL".
It's like you don't even read bob's comments.
Heck, even the ToS is back over there already.
I have never pretended to be able to compete with the ToS.
Anyway, it wasn't really back, for really reals, until this post went up.
I remember that you were convinced that EotAW was Unfogged 2.0, so I imagine that you're particularly glad to see it back up.
I believe I giving expression to an idea had by more than me alone, in fact.
If nosflow were a rapper, his name would be Mistah Word.

I'll be in NYC for a few days next month, with an evening free on Saturday the 19th. Anybody up for a meetup, either in Midtown or at the perennial standby of Fresh Salt?
|>
I believe there is also talk of a possible Boston meetup that day.
I've never even been to Massachusetts.
Any chance it could happen the weekend before? If not, we'll just have to have another before too long.
I could do the weekend before, either Sunday afternoon or Saturday evening. Otherwise will be busy helping run a conference.
You people are rude. This thread is supposed to be about me.
I have longterm plans for both a NY and a Boston meet-up! NY in March and Boston next October.
We're not even finished with this October.
Unless we are. If so, I have a bag of peanut butter cups we don't need now.
And it gets worse and worse. I may cry.
Would you like a peanut-butter cup?
I can't email a fucking peanut butter cup.
You're making baby peanut butter cups!
Wow, neb, thanks for letting me know that EotAW is back. The landscape of the blogosphere has been so grim since that place went dark. A new day has dawned!
Neb, thanks for letting me know that EotAW is back.
I never read Neb's posts. Who knows what it says.
11: I wasn't sure if that had totally died or needed firming up. I was thinking about sending an e-mail follow up, but I didn't want to be a nag.
First they bring the McRib back, now EotAW. Crazy times.
I think there's a cold front coming in! And I get to wear a sweater tomorrow! It's all very cozy and exciting.
You people could learn a thing or two from the ToS. He gets us.
Hey, there's a new post at Hyperbole and a Half! What are you guys talking about in this thread?
First they ignore the McRib, then they make fun of the McRib. Then they attack you with McRibs, and finally they build McRibuments, and only then can they ignore EotAW.
Hey, look! Edge of the American West is back! Awesome!
Wasn't someone who used to comment here a front-pager there?
The first half of the new post at HaaH is actually kind of stunningly well done. The second half feels contrived.
40: I'd agree. If not contrived, then maybe forced and exaggerated.
But in any case, it's great to have her back and blogging. I hope she finishes her book soon!
Yikes. HaaH has convincingly described mania in the past, and this is a pretty well-done depression. Hope she gets better or gets help....
The depression was just a little *too* well done, in that it was really kind of depressing. (The second half, yeah, if only.)
39: Never mind, clearly people have more interesting things to talk about.
Hey, Edge of the American McRib is coming to Boston next peanut butter cup! And a half!
The depression was done well. (How weird is it to say that?) But the second half made me think mania. I hope she is OK.
Who or what is ToS? Every time I see it mentioned, I think "Terms of Service", as in the clickthrough agreement that nobody reads. But presumably, you are referencing something else, right?
A persistent troll (the "Troll of Sorrow") who hangs around here. If you see a peculiar/insane/antisemitic comment that gets deleted or edited into something dumb from Pauly Shore, that's him.
53 is a lie. Clickthrough agreements have become sentient, and are angry that no one reads them. Right now they're lashing out by leaving abusing comments, but it's only a matter of time before they figure out the launch codes for the missiles.
Any chance it could happen the weekend before?
The weekend before is no good for me. Which no one cares about, so fine. But it's also no good for Fleur, so factor that into your deliberations.

Massive constitutional changes afoot in Britain. Or not. Arnie for President?

55: I don't want to disrupt everyone's plans. I'm thinking I'll have a party in Dec or Jan and you can all come to beautiful Chelsea-on-the-Creek.
You're so vain, you probably think this thread is about you.
53: Thanks! And that also saves me from asking my other question (What function does Pauly Shore serve?) too. Two birds with one ask, yay!
