A columnist on the Guardian has found Enver Hoxha's New Year address to the Albanian people from 1967:
"This year will be harder than last year," the Albanian leader informed his people. "It will, however, be easier than next year."
man, I want this year to be easier than last year.
I've been telling myself for at least a term of indentured servitude that the next year would have to be better than the last and been disappointed. I may need to change my strategerical thinking.
no, no; it's just that the metric was flawed such that it will be true about 2012, despite not having been true about earlier years. you're fine.
I don't know if this is the right mood or not, but I've recently decided that "Disorder In The House" is a song about rage (combined with wry amusement, since it is Warren Zevon) at one's failing body.
I hadn't picked up on that before but, once I did, I think it's a really good song. So, if it amuses you to think of the bacteria as "Zombies on the lawn staggering around" there is a song for you.

I'll do it here.

(PS:Not in this post, but relevant to it, TLP says:"We don't believe word, we believe identity.' This is Narcissism. Remember Alex's catalogue of Bobs?)
