Isn't "bandeau" more politically correct?
It seems odd that the show has nearly all-male writing staff.
I think in some pictures she kinda looks like you, hb-gb.
Without doing the "I'm so ethnic!" thing, I've been told quite a few times that I look Indian. Like I'll get ongoingly mixed up with another person who is Indian, or I'm travelling somewhere where race codes differently and people think I'm Indian. (This happened several times in Kenya, frex.)
4: I can see the resemblance.
Looking at her progression on The Office, she appears to have taken over like a fucking boss.
Me, too: rooting for her and glad it turns out to be likable.
The show is really heavy on the IM SINGLE AND DESPERATE! shtick. Or at least the pilot was. But it was funny.
I have given her book (Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?) to four women and my father, all of whom enjoyed it. I thought it was pretty darn funny myself.
I think she's a Republican, but in the old-fashioned 1980s moderate sense. Kind of incongruous.
It was morbid fun to see the Gawker Media rabble turn on one another over her ("Woman of color!" "Privilege!").
I have to say my inherent "rooting" sense was for this one to fail. I don't really have any good reason; she was a pretty good character on The Office. It's possible I'm either racist or an asshole, or maybe both.
Don't be so hard on yourself. Probably just one of the two.
Now I'm getting vaguely annoyed by the pink (breast cancer awareness? Probably) shoes and sashes in Monday Night Football. Go away, asshole brain!
What, those are totally irritating. Fuck those asswipes and their combination of 1. giving barely any of the donated money to a cause that 2. is relatively overfunded compared to other disease research.
Oh or it's the American Cancer Society I guess. Well, whatever. To hell with everything.
Telewision! I love TV

1st four characters can mean "evening cicadas" or "day-to-day-existence"
then the possessive
two characters meaning weep or cry
then character for time; than maybe a participle
translated as "When They Cry" or "When the Cicadas Cry" or as I prefer, "When Every Day Howls with Pain"
This is an amazing anime series. Hardcore Slasher Horror, but I find the constant resets back to the beginning (or earlier), the unreliable narration, the slow revelation of backstory that confuses as much as explains...this is formally fascinating stuff.

OT: I'm not sure what this means. I suppose I should just wait both for a longer article to be written and the appeal to the Supreme Court. What does it mean to cast a provisional ballot if there is apparently no process to make in de-provisional?
According to twitter, I guess the provisional ballots count the same as regular ballots. Also, apparently in the primary, it was the same way with everybody asked for ID but all votes counted. Except that I don't remember being asked for ID. I'm 90% sure I remembered to vote in the primary.

I have difficulty not lecturing people about how stupid the pink stuff is. Komen can suck it.
Is this the politics thread? I'm growing more confident that Elizabeth Warren will win in Mass. Why? Because Tom Menino has gotten off the fence.
