What does the attorney general have to do with job creation ?
1: Every time the last one sued U.Va., a bunch of lawyers got money.
Er, by "last one" I meant the outgoing current one, Cooch.
Yeah, insensitive, Apo. Some of us have to fund our steak and car payment budgets.
1: Hey, that message almost worked. He only lost by like 26 votes.
What I want to know is, why Eric Holder has stuck us with such a crummy economy.
Hey, that message almost worked.
Vote Mark Obershain for attorney general. He'll get UVA back to the Sugar Bowl.
What I want to know is, why Eric Holder has stuck us with such a crummy economy.
This made me laugh.
But seriously, folks! Let's see, Republican Attorney General in Virginia, that means limiting abortions, right? Well, since we know that families are the backbone of productivity (h/t David Brooks), clearly invasive vaginal probes prior to approval of abortions is .. uh, I'm losing the train of thought here.
However. As Repub. AG in VA, you might, oh, sue the federal government over Obamacare's individual mandate, or be proactive in right-to-work / anti-labor measures: these are clearly job-creating steps. You'd also be steadfastly against any rise in the minimum wage. There's your job creation. So it's not such a stretch.
What I find most interesting about this flavor of campaign ad is the introduction of the candidate's kid(s) as not just props but vocal advocates. Bill DeBlasio's kid blew everyone away, but it started before that. I suppose it's a bid for as well as an acknowledgment of the rising demographic power of the younger generation.
Tucker's a girl's name now?
Also, what does the attorney general have to do with jobs?
You see, the attorney general can make the state stop enforcing all those laws that protect employees and the environment against big business. End result, jobs galore.
