This makes me want to mug people at the NRA convention.
Sort of on topic: Your waiting for Jesus, but not that way.
Speaking of guns and Tennessee. "House bill bans fake guns -- not real guns -- near schools"
Harwell acknowledged the original bill set April 6 as the effective date, an unusual time for a bill to take affect, because the National Rifle Association has its annual conference April 10-12 in Nashville.
Reminiscent of the Silk Road / Ross Ulbricht story.

I can evaluate the shards best if you leave them in site.
Well, it's not like the convention center is a school or something. After years of yelling about how lots of guns make people safer in response to shootings they probably figured they had increased the temptation for gun control activists to light a firecracker, shout "Gun!", and book it out the door to the point where this probably was a necessary safety measure.
The reason is probably because there are a bunch of Republican presidential wannabes scheduled to appear at the conference.
Look, if Ted Cruz gets shot dead because he wasn't packing, that's a dealbreaker right there.
Guns are allowed at the convention, but not the concert hall
This reminds me of this story. Of course it's safe, but I'm not stupid!
