A writer in the streets, a swimmer in the heats.
Since he moved over, I've been pretty consistent. It was nice to think I'd supported the reporter when Romney's 47% speech was caught.
Anyway, I'm so happy that the cancer treatment appears to be working just as you'd want it to. He's one of my favorite internet people I'm not actually acquainted with.
7 Same here. He's always struck me as being a fundamentally decent human being. I know that may seem little to some but to me it's a lot.
Combination of fundamentally decent and reliably not an idiot. I'm not saying he's always been right about everything, but I can't think of when I've seen him say something really dumb (he was on the Iraq War bandwagon, but got off before shots were fired. ) And he's been talking a lot, about a broad range of issues, for a decade or so that I've been reading with close attention.
7-9: Yes, that's my feeling too. I don't know how he's crafted such a warm, intelligent internet persona. but it's one that I keep at the top of my daily reading.
