I watched that but didn't watch the Sanders campaign ad. In my defense, I'd have watched the Sanders ad if he rushed into a fire and managed to wrap things up without going over three minutes.
Fires are awesome. I was on a car fire a few years ago on the freeway. Exploding tires! No heroics whatsoever!
Smoke inhalation is scary as hell though. Doesn't seem to take much to kill someone off.
2.2: Yep, comin' up on 4 years next week since my friend died in a house fire that he apparently thought he had plenty of time to escape, since he took the time to warn everyone before being overcome by the smoke.
And you hear about firefighters getting treated for it all the time, when you'd think if anyone would be inured to a little smoke, it would be them.
