Thanks, Ben. As my fave Rebecca Bunch would say, "Humble and blessed,"
Congratulations? I think. I'm confused.
FUCK ME, a TYPO as I return for a victory lap comment. Burn it all down.
2: my gang has been selected as the U.S. Olympic team, art world division. We're stoked. So thank you.
The concept threw me, but anything to put down foreigners.
"Small but admired"! Strong work. Bring home gold!
Thanks to all. I'm about to pass out, but feel free to continue to talk about how awesome this all is in my absence.
Eight years ago this place nearly died. We still are painfully small. But next year we march on Venice. It's amazing.
I looked it up and apparently this thing has been happening for 120 years but nobody told me until yesterday.
12: It's a gondola-decorating contest. Remember to pack the waterproof paint!
A biathlon where you had to ski to a point and then make art and then ski to the next station to make art would be great.
9: If you are who you would seem you have to be you were previously a resident of the heart of the heart of it all -- correct? I genuinely enjoyed the Mark Bradford exhibit at the Limited.
16: You, Moby! You really are a whale from the heartland, right?
16: Note that 15 was addressed to 9 according to the conventions of this establishment.
I didn't know that stores had exhibits in the heart of the heart of it all.
19: It was more of that terrible peep humor. I couldn't allow myself to make a simple sincere compliment.
I didn't get it because who knows what Les gets up to.
I happened to be in Vienna towards the tail end, and I tried to sneak into the last Biennale. It turns out I'm not good at stealth.
We're talking about Columbus, OH, right?
21: Les is more -- medical center here is named after him now too.
Ours is named after Scottish dissenters.
Very impressive. Unfogged will get to preview ideas, right?
15: Yes indeed. After the artist and curators, I'm basically the next primary person, at least for hands-on stuff (there's grant and budget management stuff that I only have limited participation in, thank god.) So it's an extra thrill. I'll be going to Venice at least a couple of times.
Sorry for ghosting today, there was kind of a lot going on? But thanks once again to everyone.
I'd be happy to accept a complimentary ticket to Venice, btw
30: The line starts behind my underpaid junior colleagues.
31: Thank you! We have our first planning meeting in a few weeks and very excited. Also reached out to the previous commissioning institution, which is nearby and also a small museum. Gonna get together for a family dinner.
