Never heard f them. Are they any good?
That's cool, but how on Earth did they get invited to play the convention in the first place? Maybe a band whose hay day was 20 years ago was some GOP organizer's idea of what's "hip" with the kids these days?
Third Eye Blind was playing a charity concert that was put on by the Recording Industry Association of America to benefit the nonprofit group Musicians On Call, which puts on bedside hospital performances for patients, according to Yahoo News.
Maybe everybody else said no or wouldn't return calls.
6: Ah. I should have read more carefully, I thought they were playing at the convention.
The link made it sound like they were playing at the RNC!
6, 8 Wait, what? This isn't worthy trolling news.
Well, the golfer they had speak was the 492nd-ranked woman on the tour, so the evidence is pretty clear that the A-, B-, and C-lists are beyond their reach.
It's genuinely interesting, and vaguely heartening, to me that, while Trump was just this (asshole) celebrity, all sorts of celebrities were willing to hang out with him publicly, but now that he's an openly evil politician, they've almost all shunned him. Celebrities are famous for eg hanging out with dictators as long as the trip is paid for, but there seems to be a pretty uniform repulsion.
It appears to have been an invitation-only event for RNC attendees.
These guys still very much have a career, but it's mostly private and corporate events at this point. And they are arrogant, obnoxious, entitled folks. But this time they used that for the forces of good - or at least to be obnoxious to the forces of evil - so that's something.

What about when you limit it to women who are both white and American? Likely top 50 then.
