The latest uncovering of Trump lawbreaking.
I can totally see Trump doing this, but this part is strange:
Prior to the Cuban trip, several European companies reached out to Trump about potentially investing together on the island through Trump Hotels, according to the former Trump executive.
Shouldn't anyone in business in Europe have known that U.S. partnerships wouldn't help them a whit in Cuba? He must know some pretty uninformed people. Or Russians, conceivably.
Long-time lurker posting to say that if anything could make me vote for Donald Trump, it is Barry Blitt's obnoxiously smug New Yorker covers.
Eh, some of them are smug but some of them are great. This one is downright beautiful: Nine. (As in the Charleston Nine.)
Trump is like a crying girl. ha ha
What's the matter with you people? This illustrates in a humorous and cutting way how sexist and hypocritical is the distance between Trump himself, and what he requires of his pageant contestants. Now that I'm explaining a joke, obviously I'm losing, but still. Yeesh.
Yeah, if I wasn't clear above, I don't count this one as smug. It's a well targeted "fuck you."
Very nicely played by HRC and team. The 5 am "check out the sex tape" tweet is unbelievable. He just can't give it up.
Or was it 3 AM? Maybe the cocaine rumors are true.
"The rumors are terrible and cruel. But, honey, most of them are true "
7 gets it exactly right.
Indeed, I think a sign of a rising NYer backlash is that an article in Slate that legitimately criticizes NYer's lame-ass "topical" humor (as embodied in their daily cartoons and Andy "I'm not funny" Borowitz*), incorrectly uses this as another example.
*he bugs me all the more because he does, in fact, come up with the occasional funny premise/headline, but it's drowned in so much dreck. Don't they still have editors over there?
