As noted, first album is excellent but all the albums are about Carloman so all criticism is moot.
ALSO weirder than Magma: Comus. Ok that's my only remaining music opinion, I'm gonna go flip my one Juice Newton cassette to the other side.
I fucking love Comus but I'm not sure I would say "weirder than Magma".
Can't hear you over all the clap-machine country music.
Krummhorn is really hard to beat. Maybe we could have (or turn this into) an obscure instrument thread. Where my nyckelharpa crew at? etc.
Anyone want a nice-ish but basic Arabic oud? It's huge, old, was beat to shit at some point but has been very impressively restored (at least I saw the before/after and was impressed). Sounds good, mildly fussy.

On a hot summer day, an iambic pentameter locked in a closed car can get heat exhaustion in as little as 15 minutes.
Obscure musical instrument : Laotian Ncaas. Looks like a vegetable peeler, sounds like a didgeridoo.

In my bakery the other day the televison was running a video of a latina star singing something that sounded like a completely countrified Nortena, with a backing mandolin. No idea how to look for this, so asking for any advice, or possibly a fan who can identify the singer.
nice information. send me email if you have another like this.
