Eric Trump says this is exactly the kind of thing that will give his dad a sad.
This story (that Mueller is working with state AGs to make it clear to Trump's capos that Trump can't pardon everything they've done) cheered me up greatly.
I am completely unconnected to anything of the sort that's happening here. But if it's happening, it's only one floor away from me.
You should bring them donuts. I'll kick in.

I could tell that was going to be a link to a Night Court clip just from the description, but it applies to basically all the episodes.
2 was exactly what spawned the link. Like, it gives me great optimism and feelgoods that Mueller will nail this investigation, but I'm so fucking impatient. The world is burning! Can we hurry it up? (and do what, Pence? More burning.)
This story, on the other hand, really annoys me because it ignores that Trump won because he had promised the immigration hardliners to be exactly as big of a shithead as they are now trying to force him to be. The "This thing being done is horrible but the people doing it are sad about it" are not helping my mood.
On Pence, I didn't read it, but the WP has a headline "Pence careful not to outshine Trump in Harvey role." I assume this means Pence shat on the hand luggage of evacuees.
7: I didn't really want to watch Night Court clips at work, so I haven't seen it yet.
2 very much the same. I wonder if that's gotten through to Emperor Diaper Baby yet. The rage tweets will tell.
I've never seen an episode of Night Court. It's one of those things that makes me feel the most un-American. Like references to Richard Simmons. The post title just makes me think of Withnail & I.
If you haven't seen at least one season of Night Court and won a Nobel Prize, you'd never be allowed to immigrate to Trump's America.
The speed of the Mueller investigation is actually very rapid compared to semi-similar things in the past. Also working with the IRS it appears. I'm sure they are explicitly attempting to keep something viable in case of "Trump smash". (Which I think is semi-likely before the end of the year; him getting fed up enough with Kelly's management of him to do something about it will be a Signal that it is likely coming.)
I think it comes down to a big fight about the limits of pardon and executive power in general. Good chance Trump "wins" that, and even if not I think he "wins" impeachment. The real race is 2018/20 elections versus Republican ability to lock themselves in semi-permanently with the help of the neo-Confederates on the Supreme Court. I would like to be a ridiculous Cassandra ruthlessly mocked in retrospect on this.
If you want to know where Trump is vulnerable look for the things that Dershowitz and Turley are defending. For future potential developments look for things that Fox is pre-defending; for instance before the Don Jr. meeting stuff came out there was a spate of "even if they did collude, was that wrong?" bits.
Paul Ryan is now urging Trump not to end DACA. I assume that means it will be dead before I get dinner.
My favorite nickname so far that I've seen has been Emperor Baby Fists.

This was cheering, too
