There's a part of the executive branch that still does the right thing? I'm as surprised as you.
Yeah I initially read it the other way around as I clicked on the link convinced that this was another instance of rot in the federal administration.
The leadership is rotten, but good people in the rank and file still remain.
Reading through the EEOC's press releases about its latest cases is reassuring (parts of the federal government are doing their jobs) and depressing (fucking horrible employers are still at it after all these years). You should browse through some of the other items in the press release section, such as the disability cases or the pregnancy ones. It's interesting.
(And these are the ones EEOC is taking to court.)
In summary, I'm boycotting Whataburger if I'm ever near one.
A little googling indicates that to be near one, you should be in the South, particularly Texas, which I guess is their home territory.
That's the benefit of independent commissions. The downside is they don't reliably get better in Democratic administrations (especially recently with recess appointments gone).
It's a really really big chain here. People are super passionate about Whataburger.
Come for the ground beef. Stay for the openly practiced racism.
They should change their name to Whiteaburger, he punned defiantly.
