I think she should have asked him to rinse the cup or just use paper.
I wikipediad the "horrid liquor" mentioned, which does indeed look horrid, but from there learned that Iceland had a form of prohibition for a time, followed by about 50 years where wine and spirits were allowed but beer could only be up to 2.25%. (Apparently bars would then mix the legal caraway schnapps into the legal weak beer...) Weird.
I clean my work coffee cup once a month, whether it needs it or not.
But if I found a tissue in it, I'd wash it before I used it again.
Mimi Smartypants is one of my favorites. I wish people would get back to blogging again. I really prefer long blog posts to the social media formats that are popular with today's kids.
I especially hate Instagram stories. I can't believe how much people can talk about nothing and not be embarrassed by it!
People talk on Instagram stories? What I follow is just images/videos with a whisker of occasional commentary.
7: People talk endlessly on Instagram stories. But I should have said Instagram live, since the Instagram stories are limited to 15 second snippets and people talk far less on them than Instagram live.
I follow this one woman because it's interesting to me how much she hates her kids (I'm kind of a bad person) and every month or so she spends an hour talking about different kinds of cannabis products she consumes for micro-dosing. I do not understand how it's more complicated than eat a candy, see what happens.
I must not be following the right people. Or the other way around.
I thought Instagram was for looking at butts.

Me too. I feel like blogging is the ideal medium.
12 It's not the ideal blog(ging platform).
13: I read this thing some time ago, saying Medium's recommended reading thing brings in dramatically more readers than a standalone blog could without heavy social media promotion. (I've never used it, and only read on it very occasionally.)
14: I liked Medium about three months ago, but then they did a major overhaul that makes it very difficult to find content. And I had to give them my email address to read content, which I really hate.
I think I need to look into Longreads. People link to articles from there that are - as the title suggests - sufficiently long and full of content.
