Have you tried playing more Pokemon Go?
I worry about this a lot, but then wonder if maybe I was always this dumb and unfocused. Who can say?
This morning, trying to buy a phone and failing and then paying too much for one felt like scoring.
Anyway, mediation isn't mentioned in the Bible and drinking is.
I was given this to read for work among other management essays. Seems somewhat relevant but I can't be sure because I could concentrate enough to finish the whole thing.
6 is indeed relevant! And SP shouldn't blame him(?)self for not concentrating, he should blame the author for starting the actual content on page 11 of 16! And also the person who designed the interface for this handy interactive quiz!
If your new project is writing a book, I think the key is to collaborate with James Patterson.
Heebie, you are getting old. Old people largely control the world, and it's not in their best interests to admit that attention deficit disorder is primarily a problem of those who are middle-aged and beyond. So as people age, they are inevitably surprised by this.
Have you tried playing more Pokemon Go?
I know I certainly have. Now I sometimes find it difficult to maintain focus on driving.
Spend your time like apo, not screaming like the passengers in his car.
I've been having trouble with reading long form for a while. I've always had problems with my eyes working together and depth perception. My right eye turns out intermittently and it's getting worse. I've caught myself covering one eye at work to try to mitigate the strain. This is something that kids with strabismus do. I pushed a specialist to refer me to a neurologist-ophthalmologist who then referred me to his colleague who does adult strabismus surgery. I'm cautiously optimistic that he will be able to help.
But eye strain makes concentrating so much harder. Do you think you might have regular old presbyopia and need reading glasses?
9 is EXACTLY what I secretly suspected.
13.2: If you can remember Ronald Reagan as a president instead of a smiling, walking skeleton, you have presbyopia.
I'm finding that my interest in the daily Trump soap opera is substantially interfering with my desire to work. Since I only get paid when I actually work, this is pretty serious.
15 Speaking of which, happy death anniversary of Ronald Reagan!

Barry, have you seen Kong: Skull Island?

I guess that actually isn't OT.
18 Missed it but I heard it was good fun for that sort of thing.
It is! And great nutso photography, and I'm sure tons of references I missed but you'll get. Did you see the Gareth Edwards Godzilla/i>?
Agreed - it was really not bad. I haven't seen Godzilla though. Tried to watch it on a plane but the screen was a bit dodgy.
Both movies I really regretted not seeing in theatre.
15: Yed, and most people that age need reading glasses.
21 I did not, I didn't expect it to be any good frankly, after the last several Godzilla remakes but I did like his Monsters very much.
The direction of these comments being, I think Legendary's MonsterThing is shaping up to be the first non-MCU "shared universe" that actually works.
OP: Pain makes a huge difference too. My wife and I are voracious readers, but as her frozen shoulder pain intensified, she just couldn't focus for long.
26 I'll try to catch it. Of new releases I've been looking forward to catching First Reformed and also Upgrade and Hereditary. I highly recommend A Quiet Place if you haven't seen it yet.
Pardon me for the lack of commas. I was distracted by the hand-rolled HTML.
This hits close to home. I really have the sense that I'm lazy, procrastinating, and scatter-brained even more than usual over the past week or two, with even more reasons not to be than usual. I know, impostor syndrome is a thing, and what I'm describing is consistent with depression which I've dealt with before, but I've been seriously wondering about making an appointment with a doctor and asking to be tested for ADD or something similar.
