I don't think it's actually two questions.
This is my favorite, and I didn't even see the move.
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Character error
Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) never uses her turn signal.
For more fun, check their replies. People will not get the joke, so movie_goofs will respond to them with more "goofs" until they do, e.g. here.
I love this account!
Personal fave:
Planet of the Apes (1968)
Plot hole
It is never explained how or why the Statue of Liberty was transported from Earth to the planet of the apes.
The tweet linked in 7 was my favorite as well.
I like that there's a whole bunch of them where the protagonist wakes up and X shows that they're still in a dream.
The film is about a reporter (William Alland) investigating why Charles Foster Kane's (Orson Welles) dying words were "Rosebud". In the final shot we see a "Rosebud"-branded sled burning in an incinerator. The coincidence is never explained.
Damn! I knew there was a problem in that movie.
I should probably see that movie sooner day.
Rogue One (2016)
Incorrectly regarded as goofs
The CGI technology used to put Wilhuff Tarkin (Peter Cushing) and Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) on screen is significantly inferior to that used in Star Wars (1977). However, this was done intentionally since Rogue One is set earlier.
Another cute. (Video, no significant sound)
10. Culminating with Inception, the IMDB goofs page for which caused me physical pain to read.
The inconsistency usually noted in Citizen Kane is that no one is around to hear his last word "Rosebud".
As a paranoid media mogul, he probably had listening devices in every room.
I learned the ending of Citizen Kane via the song "Everybody run, the homecoming queen's got a gun", the most sophisticated of sources.
The best "Goofs" section is for The Jesse Ventura Story (1999 TV Movie).
That was just a great twitter stream.
It really was. Seeing "this coincidence is never explained" in the sidebar just made me laugh all over again, because somehow that particular phrase just kills me.
