I don't see a link.
Can we call Mossy Character Mocha from now on?
I don't either. Have we all gone blind???
The link is unusually well-written. It's very clear and direct and provides enough context for a middling sap like myself.
I agree! Thanks, Mossy!
The author seems like an interesting person. Has anybody heard of the Fainting Robin Foundation?
5: Robin? Is that you? Isn't your last name, Grayson? Have I been mishearing it all these years?
1: No.
4.1: You're welcome!
4.2: I know nothing about the author or the trials or the Cambodians.
Except that they were required for many years to render unto Siam any white elephants they happened to capture.
Super racist. They didn't even have to work or trample peasants or anything, just sit around being auspicious.

Or as he could be known on Roc Island, ㄇㄛㄔㄚ.
I didn't write any commentary because ignorance. I was struck, by the author's hostility to "transitional justice"; condemnation of the UN bureaucrat/activist ecosystem; pointing to the historical value of the investigations.
I just finished the article. I had actually wondered, idly, during those trials why they took so long to happen and accomplished so little in terms of convicting anybody before they died of natural causes. Thanks.
The guy's book looks interesting.

It's $45, but it's available at the library near my office.
Write a summary for us? Sunday would be good.
Maybe later. I'm still finishing Infinite Jest.
I wish there was some nice way that all my SE Asian-American friends and neighbors could have wound up here. But that's not how the world works, unfortunately. Stupid fucking borders. Cobwebs for the rich and chains of steel for the poor.
Talk on the book. Interesting.
12: That's a mighty good road, it's the road to ride.

I faced no such compunctions.
12: My wallet's the one that says "bopomofo" on it.
