I'm free, Charlie. But you probably don't want to be seen with me. Just like Melania! Wah!
Does anyone want to be my Valentine?
I should have know I would kill this. Ok, other people can meet with Charlie. I promise not to show up.
I'm normally enthusiastic about meetups in DC, but a meetup on short notice, on Valentine's Day, one day before a holiday weekend? (Holiday weekend might not be relevant to most people, but we're getting out of town Friday afternoon, so we have to pack tonight.) Sorry, Charley, but I'll pass.
It's almost like I screwed everything up by not allowing you advance notice.
Yeah, I'm afraid it's Valentine's Day and The Missus is headed out of town tomorrow, so there's no way I can participate. But next time!
I figured it was a long shot, even a week ago.
I'm here meeting with congressional staff people, Six Senate yesterday, five House today. It's kind of fun.
Ooh, are you having another shutdown today?
Folks seem to think the deal will stick, but no one really knows.
Emergency! Last one to the border is a rotten egg!
A national emergency! Good heavens, I hope everyone is okay!
Like, should I be lining up to give blood or something?
GRAB ALL THE BRICKS YOU CAN FIND AND BRING THEM TO THE BORDER! YOU KNOW! THE BORDER ON THE LEFT!
I'm thinking maybe the army could go out into the desert someplace and set up a Potemkin wall for Trump to visit. Tell him they took the money from California's fire budget, get some pictures of it up on Fox News, and he will be happy.
I say when Kamala Harris is President, she declares a national emergency to build the California High-Speed Rail.
The emergency is all the UC Merced students are in Los Angeles for no adequately explored reason and the semester is about to start!!
So, Trump wants to take $2.5 billion from the drug interdiction program and $3.5 billion from military construction to build Wall. Isn't that going to interfere quite a bit with interdicting drugs and whatever the military wants to construct?
There was just a thing in the paper yesterday about military housing being substandard. That's probably not something Wall is going to replace.
