It went very well last time, IIRC.
You're probably thinking of changing hosting providers. We've never changed the domain registrar. And it won't happen today, because Network Solutions is a pit of dark patterns and won't email the necessary code for three days.
Network Solutions is terrible. They were one of the only options early on, so a lot of old domains are still registered there. But instead of riding their first mover advantage to being a dominant, respected leader in the field, they doubled down on providing a horrible user experience full of scammy upsells and overpriced services.
We should change hosting, too, and probably update at least some of the decade-or-more-old tech.
NSI and godaddy are both horrible. hover dot com is decent ime.
I don't know why NS became NSI in 7. Stupid fingers.
| so I'm in the tropics for a few days, having dinner at an "Irish" pub. They have an item on the menu called The Code Red. How many times a day does someone answer the question whether they ordered the code red? Do kids these days even get it? |>
Millennials can't handle the truth.
I stopped being a kid some time ago, and don't get it.
It's a reference to A Few Good Men.

Namecheap have been fine for me. I also would be in favour of an upgrade from MT 3.1 or whatever this is to something with slightly better antispam controls.
9,11,12 etc: I doubt it will make you feel better, Mossy, but I didn't get the reference either. I'm thinking not having seen the movie is a necessary but not sufficient condition for this. I was (of course) familiar with the "you can't handle the truth!" nonsense that came in response.
OK, guys. The important thing to remember is if the waitress comes back with several plates of food and asks 'did you order the code red?' the correct answer is 'you're goddam right I did.'
They've haven't figured out a way to get in the eating 'within 300 yards of 4,000 Cubans trained to kill me,' but maybe that's on the breakfast menu.
(For those of you who haven't seen the move, the line occurs twice -- first Nicholson, then Cruise imitating Nicholson. IME, folks wanting to use the line have to choose which voice to go with, and the latter is the funnier one.)
Of course, Trump pardoned Col. Jessup and is putting the leakers on trial.
I could have sworn we had the "you can't handle the truth" mp3 uploaded to the server here. But that was a looong time ago. When we used to be friends.
Do you still have that mp3 of GW Bush singing "Embrace jihad"?
20: I haven't thought of you lately at all.
