The WaPo seems to be calculating it for every state by assuming 10% of cases across the board are among the vaccinated, although the real data from some states/counties seems to bear this out.
I do wish they were showing curves among the vaccinated only, although it's possible they'll be barely visible.
So many dead, so many of them because a few dozen thousand flushed and angry idiots didn't want to hear a snooty schoolmarm on the news.
I found this story out of Alabama striking:
"You kind of go into it thinking, 'Okay, I'm not going to feel bad for this person, because they make their own choice,'" Cobia said. "But then you actually see them, you see them face to face, and it really changes your whole perspective, because they're still just a person that thinks that they made the best decision that they could with the information that they have, and all the misinformation that's out there.
"And now all you really see is their fear and their regret. And even though I may walk into the room thinking, 'Okay, this is your fault, you did this to yourself,' when I leave the room, I just see a person that's really suffering, and that is so regretful for the choice that they made."
I think we should start calling it "The Republican Flu"
3: That doctor is too good for this world but I am definitely not. I'm so tired of this pandemic and I want it to end and I have no sympathy for the people prolonging it.
Alabama isn't real. It's just where Forrest Gump was set.
7: At least one of your imaginary friends believes they were born there.
6: just wish the world could get it together to get vaccines and syringes to the rest of the world.
8: One lives in "Narnia", one on "Arrakis".
So, I've just heard that a woman I hugged at her birthday party exactly a week ago has tested positive. Crap.
The thinking is that she got it at the party. I really doubt that any of our mutual friends are not vaxxed, but there were people there that I didn't know, so . . .
I'm thinking that the odds for me right now are still pretty favorable: no symptoms yet, I certainly didn't hug everyone she did, we left earlier than most guests.
7 Just a conspiracy of cartographers then?
13: That's why you should never inhale around women.
Especially not like Crispin Glover in Charlie's Angels.
15. I DID NOT INHALE THAT WOMAN
