There's a Nixon quote: "The rate of increase of inflation is going down" which gets used in math classes in a jokey way sometimes to illustrate the third derivative. In my head, I get these standalone links from Mossy and think "oh he's giving me a homework assignment", but then I can shirk the homework assignment by blathering about some dumb association that pops into my head, instead, or just being brief.
A better blogger would actually take the time to say something intelligent, but you all are stuck with me if you want to get to the comment section.
1: Happy to be stuck with you Heebie! Honestly, if you think up something fun and math, we'll all appreciate it 15 comments in when everyone's warmed up.
Interesting report, and cheering in a better-late-than-never way. I recall a few years back when some of the locals were excited for the future of coal because they were exporting it to China.
1: not quite as good as coal plants are being taken off line, but still better than nothing.
