Maybe someone needs to build annoying-and-different-from-you AI robots (with physical bodies). So people can get their rocks off being shitty to bots, and leave each other alone.
I don't quite understand why following up with these people would be useful. I mean, it's well-established that
A. there are good people and bad people, not good and bad works.
B. people are inherently good or bad, chosen so by God.
C. So when a good person does a bad thing, why, it's a mere straying from The Path. They're still good, still Saved.
D. when a bad person does a good thing, it's meaningless: they're still damned to Hell.
