Well, obviously, AC/DC's "Hells Bells".

(I'm not sure if these are wholesome enough.)
Fun angry songs for a young girl:
Le Tigre - TKO
Joan Jett- Bad Reputation
Runaways - Cherry Bomb
2NE1 - I Hate You
Christina Aguilera - Fighter
MIA - Bad Girls
Maybe this is not angry enough but I like the Mr. T Experience punk covers of kid songs.

All your views were long refuted
You think they're new, you're just deluded
You're not being persecuted
Here's the truth - you're just too stupid
We're Not Gonna Take it from Twisted Sister, so wholesome it was used in MTV voter registration campaigns!

In high school there were many arguments about whether Angry Young Man by Billy Joel is an angry song. Is the speaker so angry that he recognizes the pointlessness of anger, and that makes him angrier? Or is he just amused about the angry young man being boring as hell?

On the general angry topic, for the exvangelicals out there, there's this truly inexplicable song which is certainly not wholesome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esy2b7qA9U4
"Joan Jett- Bad Reputation"
Now I want to go rewatch Freaks and Geeks.
The Who "Young Man Blues": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9boFzhUVG4
Oh man, upbeat but wholesome songs is making me think of this Cookie Monster song (not angry): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PnbKL3wuH4
More catchy than angry but it does build. Perhaps at the beginning, to transition into the theme?

Young Man Blues is a Mose Allison song. Accept no substitute.
Angry? Dylan, Masters of War.
18: That song is about giving Uncle Joey a blowjob. :(

Yes, but . . . that is one of my favorite performances by The Who.
But, okay, The Who "Heaven And Hell" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebq5yEQAFH4
Not sure if it's entirely wholesome but Black Flag "Rise Above"
The Minutemen: "Shit From An Old Notebook" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zjcut9IQRM&list=OLAK5uy_k2Z3rgjaTsI4Y5a5G1H6dB6FC1CxihPnQ

It's funny; having just listened to a bunch of high-energy songs I now feel really keyed-up.
18: That was the first thing that came into my head.
For The Who in this category, I like The Dirty Jobs, but while the lyrics are angry, the music is probably too pretty.
For angry songs that are called "We're not gonna take it," I also prefer The Who.
Killing Joke's "Requiem" or "Eighties."

or
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1U1Ue_5kq8
I love "Your Racist Friend". So applicable so often. Early cancel culture!
Lucinda Williams (or Bettye LaVette), "Joy"
Omg. Ace rejected Bad Reputation, and I am having big feeings. How dare she.
The Who: eeeeyaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDfAdHBtK_Q
Blue Öyster Cult: Godzilla
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myqSETD5_bs
(Not really angry and not BÖC but amazing in its way, Beautiful South's cover of "Don't Fear the Reaper.")
Peter Gabriel: Biko
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLg-8Jxi5aE
Golden Earring: Twilight Zone
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOuc0kuKRV4
Not angry at all but why the hell not, Brownsville Station: Martian Boogie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RU8EqkQKfw0
Ok, most of those fit a particular vibe. Maybe I'll try a different flavour later.
Someone took the tune to "Never Going to Give You Up" and remixed it with new lyrics, somehow making it worse. On topic because it's music and it made me angry.
Do you need a pronoun cop for 34, or is it fluid?
Angry and upbeat songs: 80% of the Sleater-Kinney catalog for sure. When I'm in a mood I like to blast "Cloud Shadow on the Mountain" by Wolf Parade, but that's a bit niche. X-Ray Spex is universal, though, so pick your fave (Elke's was "Identity," which is a pretty damn great song -- how does Ace feel about horns in general?*). Are the bangers from Olivia Rodrigo's album already on Ace's playlist? Apparently she covered "Seether" in concert and dedicated it to her mom, which is both adorable and making me feel olllld.
* We rewatched a few old favorite Simpsons episodes, one of which was "Moaning Lisa" from all the way back in Season One. I can't overstate how relatable I found the "everything is bleak except playing the saxophone, that's just transcendent" message as a young person.
If Le Tigre and Joan Jett are under consideration, you might as well also try Bikini Kill, particularly the version of "Rebel Girl" with Jett on it, assuming you haven't already:
Thinking over playlist idea has made me realize how few angry songs I can think of that aren't old, obvious, or decidedly not wholesome. That said, I'm not sure it's really angry, but P. S. Eliot's "Like How You Are" definitely has a certain defiant energy. I like the demo version best but the album track is also good:
Also in the more-defiant-than-angry category, and an absolutely killer song, Cayetana's "Hot Dad Calendar":
It's extremely wholesome too!.
Camp Cope's whole second record, How to Socialize & Make Friends, was pretty angry, but I didn't like it as much as either their earlier or more recent material. Their early song "Keep Growing" is really good and has some big sullen energy, though:
Has no one mentioned The Linda Lindas "Racist Sexist Boy"?

A rare quintuple post! Hard to do that unintentionally .
45: I knew someone must have. And still I thought "No I won't check again, and I'll post it 5 times so no one misses it"
Violent Femmes!
Kiss Off maybe isn't the wholesomest, but the lyrics went over my head when I was a kid.
48: I would prefer not to.
Not sure how I didn't think of this earlier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AWRs5DuTEY
We just had an outdoor showing here last week, as a fundraiser for a "girls rock" program. It was a delight.
Also I only just realized while watching the film that the chorus of the song in 51 has a full countdown 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 in the chorus.
I like songs that have weirdly specific times in them. "It's been seven hours and 15 days" "It took six whole hours and five long days" "Lit through the darkness at 1:58" etc.
Oh oops. If 6 is in error, I'm so sorry, and please feel free to redact/delete.
37: Thank you, I do. I'm on my ipad at the moment, though, so I need to fix in the morning.
56: fwiw, they're still preferring to use girl/daughter/sister flexibly over restricting exclusively to things like kid/child.
Are The Breeders ("Cannonball") angry enough?

xelA is very keen on rocking out to angry sounding songs. The ones he likes are all pretty obvious, but:
Beastie Boys - Sabotage (and really any of the bratty License to Ill era tracks)
Green Day - American Idiot
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Wolf Alice - Smile (this one has a few instances of swearing in it)
RATM (various)
He's in a big Bilie Eilish phase at the moment, too, some of which is, I guess, relatively angry, but it's not so much about rocking out.
He also previously had a bit of a PJ Harvey thing for a while, but I don't know if he'd name specific songs, he used to just tell his smart speaker to play PJ Harvey (it was sparked by some song of hers from a movie soundtrack). Her whole rocking-the-fuck-out phase fall the way from 1993 to 2004 is full of belters. I know artists have to evolve and all that, but I do miss that PJ Harvey, as she's fucking great at it.
Man-Size
Rid of Me
Dress
Uh Huh Her
and a million others.
Other suggestions (sometimes the oldies are still the goodies):
Bjork - Army of Me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPeheoBa2_Y
Prodigy - Firestarter
PE - Fight the Power
I'm also reminded of this meme and Twitter thread:

Is there a preferred genre? Breakup angry? Political angry? Headbanging?
Here's some angry girly pop:
So What by Pink (since U + Ur Hand is insufficiently wholesome)
Stronger - Kelly Clarkson
Only Happy When It Rains and Stupid Girl by Garbage
Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood
abcdefu by Gayle - tons of unwholesome language, but I thought y'all were pretty flexible about f-bombs?
Goodbye Earl - The Chicks - probably not wholesome enough?
Not girly pop:
Letterbomb and She's a Rebel - Greenday
London Calling - the Clash
Sad but True, Master of Puppets, - Metallica
Land of Confusion - Disturbed (cover of Genesis, plenty more by same group)
Inside Out - Eve 6
sillyworld - Stone Sour
Bullet the Blue Sky - U2
Chop Suey! - System of a Down (contains mention of suicide but not sure meaning would register with a kid?)
I'm not a huge Carrie Underwood fan, but I've wanted to destroy a pick-up many times.
62: With a Louisville slugger? In.
Roped AJ into playing along:
Zero, Butterfly Wings - Smashing Pumpkins
Outshined - Soundgarden
We might be coming up with these all day . . . indoor chores with the stereo on.
Cult of Personality - Living Colour
OT: Why don't soccer players wear hats to keep the sun off their face?
Le Tigre - TKO
Also, Le Tigre -- "New Kicks" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0p5vm6dDeg
Ani DiFranco -- "Every State Line" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bYD3bnwQxs (perhaps not wholesome enough, but an excellent song)
The Passion Flower Hotel - You Can't Hurt Me Anymore
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_X71g6NPV0
It's not to everyone's taste, but 'The Safety Dance" is really kind of an angry song.
I get that there are bigger issues involved, but trying to kill someone fifty years older than you who is unarmed and failing even with a knife and surprise seems really pathetic just in terms of musculature/competence.
"White Flag", by Joseph. Defiant and wholesome. The band is three sisters.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3kXDMPwfMc
Maybe also "Best of Me," by Morningwood -- but it's more aimed at a specific person who is (messing) you over. One mild swear. Video is not the least bit wholesome but entertaining to my adult eyes:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLTHobmC_Cc
"Graffiti Limbo" by Michelle Shocked, still painfully relevant.
re: 65
They aren't allowed to. They can wear hats, and sometimes, if it's really cold, they do, but baseball caps and hats with protruding sections aren't allowed (except for goalkeepers). I imagine that rule (no protruding parts on hats) is there for safety reasons in a contact sport. Soccer isn't like baseball, and a lot of close physical contact is allowed. Getting the bill of a baseball cap in the eye isn't pleasant, for example. I think the same rule is in place in basketball for the same reason.
Obviously, you'd need a specialized hat.
It must be possible to make a brim that holds up in normal circumstances but collapses on any physical contact.
They should just wear a boonie hat.
Da Share Zone is apparrently run by a pair of comic artists from Columbus, Natalie Dee and her husband. Rage themed and funny, with skeletons.
Well, I have Ace's list. They stopped listening to me pretty quickly.
1. Smells like teen spirit
2. Chop suey
3. Break stuff
4. So what
5. I hate everything about you
6. Gives you hell
There are no band names listed, so some (#5) are ambiguous.
77: I love knowing how Ace's playlist turned out. Thank you for the update!
Pulp - Common People
The cynical wit makes the anger super potent.
And what a tune!
