When I think of Baron Davis, the phrase "injury-prone ball hog" inevitably come to mind, closely followed by "poor man's Steve Francis". So maybe his people are trying to shore up his somewhat-eroded market value by preventing the sort of gaffes that might lead execs to question his attitude and work ethic.
