If he is, though, the interviewers will be well-informed as to the refutations of any allegations he's made in his book.
And the format of the shows will be such as to allow for both those refutations and his explanation and defense of himself to be well articulated.
I'm glad that they're putting pressure on NPR/PBS, because it's pretty clear that corporate-funded media are better than publicly/government-funded media. Just stack up the BBC and Fox, and I think you can tell pretty clearly which one is just parroting a biased elite perspective and which one is just giving you the straight facts.
I just hope that the Moynihans and Clintons show grace after Klein's forthcoming apology.

In a related story, I'm excited about how the media-at-large is going to call on Republicans to distance themselves from Bill O'Reilly's statements about how liberal "undermining" should be punished with federal imprisonment. I've never understood the mechanics of this "undermining." Do the troops in Iraq have a lot of free time to listen to Air America? Do they even get it over there? Do their parents mail them daily transcripts? Are the Air America hosts privy to top-secret data that they pass on to "the insurgents" (and who the fuck are these people anyway, even if you wanted to contact them?)? I just don't see how people talking has much effect on a war taking place halfway around the war. Maybe if they were praying that the troops would die or the insurgents would win, I could see the objection, but I thought liberals were godless.
