Isn't that the exact plot of a Monty Python skit, with Palin as clueless husband "Arthur Pewtie", Idle as the marriage counselor, Carol Cleveland as the wife, and John Cleese as the mysterious cowboy?
Then, technically, Weiner-pwnd by Weiner.
Yeah, that's the one; thanks for the link. I was doing it from memory.
The link in 2 did a weird NSFW redirect for me... beware!
I wonder if he ever said "take my wife--please!"
Hey, when did the counselor ever promise to make both of them happier? Sounds like at least one of them got an improved outlook on things.
Not having ever been married, much less gone to a marriage counselor, I nevertheless bet that it's pretty common for the husband (or wife as appropriate), if reluctant to go to conseling in the frst place, to think that the counselor is plotting to steal the spouse. So this story sure ain't gonna help.
Having been to a (woman) couples counselor, it honestly never so much as entered my mind.
ha! she's still fooled! I'll get her man yet.
The silver lining: when your wife is banging your marriage counselor, you no longer have to wonder whether the marriage is worth fighting for.
That (w)cc, she keeps looking at me all hungry-like. I will offer her my peanut butter sandwich, and my fruit snacks.
Those classic old-time fruit snacks made with beeswax.
