It's more the voice with Marshall, which sounds like he's trying to be soulful or something (though I'm guessing that in fact he's trying not to wake someone). Conclusion: you're gay.
You're not kidding about the rebel alliance.
Marshall's just a little bit too close to the camera. Good voice though.
ha ha what an embarrassing cross post!
some people sound like that (my husband does, but more soulful. Though, he's no Dikembe Mutumbo)
With Marshall, it started out with the voice, which later became more straight, but the overall gaydar experience continued because of the posture.
Marshall needs to put his chin down. If he can't put his chin down and still be in the frame, he needs to move the camera. That neck posture is making him look like he's weakly trying to ingratiate. No good.
my husband . . . Though, he's no Dikembe Mutumbo
Don't beat yourself up over this. Many will sex Mutumbo; few will wed.
After reading a comment about Metropolitan that said the movie dialogue accurately depicted how those young people talk, I listened to Yglesias seeking confirmation.
I watched and listened very carefully. The informal video was more revealing than his TV appearances.
There is no way I would ever do a video.
Marshall has a baby, right? I suspect the quiet-storm slow jam quality of his voice was actually "holy crap, the baby finally fell asleep".
