All I know is that my own little boy wants me to play it again.
Who was it here that said the comedy in Sasha Cohen's routine is that things go on much longer than you think they possibly could/should? This guy's from the same school.
I was buying it as possibly sincere until he acted out his mother running him over with a car. That was masterful, though.
That was awesome, but I had to step away from the computer and stand in a corner of my room to keep myself from turning it off.
I never thought he was for real.
That is one (well-acted) repressed honky.
Am I the only one who just doesn't like watching people make other people uncomfortable?
No. But does it help that the woman being made uncomfortable is some freakish Christian who wants to argue that homophobic corporal punishment is good? And that she actually doesn't seem all that uncomfortable once he really gets going? Her look at the camera is hilarious, and she seems to be playing it up on purpose at that point.
Give me a break. It's a bad fake.
Ned, you're not the only one. I couldn't watch til the end.
But does it help that the woman being made uncomfortable is some freakish Christian who wants to argue that homophobic corporal punishment is good?
It helps convince me that the guy is more to be praised than criticized for making her feel uncomfortable. I still can't stand to watch it, though.
Is that not the same couple from the sperm delivery video?
This is *exactly* the kind of can't-stand-embarrassment that we talked about earlier. The only thing that made me able to stand watching this was the thought that he was faking it. I couldn't have done it if I thought he was sincere.
That bit with the car sort of clinched it, did it not?
Too bad I can only get audio, not video.
? what am I missing. It doesn't become implausible until sometime about the ninety-second mark, true, but it's a fairly standard testimony for this sort of thing. I'm not seeing where the embarrassment is coming from.
(Also, I was expecting funnier. For shame.)
My computer doesn't seem to allow me to download Flash 9. God knows I've tried.
I think it's the copyright issues with Marvel Comics.
The squirm factor is what makes it awesome. I maintain that Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of the great shows of the genre.
Ogged just has to stereotype Americans.
You can take the Lur out of Luristan...
Normally I can't stand embarassment comedy, but this was just really well done.
Re: 11, if it helps even more, I think the woman in that video is in on the act and it was a parody. She seems to be a recurring persona on that YouTube account.
(See the Save the Children video)
This clip reminds me of an embarrassing scene in Meet John Doe.
The sperm-delivery video linked in 20 is funnier by a mile.
