Kiwi+cucumber sounds pretty good, actually.
I don't think it's a gadget thing. I hate gadgets, but I can never resist eating something new.
That has nothing to do with whether it's related to ogged's gadget thing.
I know some dudes that bought several fruit items at the local market, then had their way with them, as it were, and then wrote a review. Is this what we're getting at here?
If so, I'm disgusted.
If you want a weird-fruit experience that is actually pretty tasty AND satisfyingly exotic, I would like to recommend your cherimoya.
Not that the horned melon was a bad move... they're definitely cool enough to justify buying one, just not tasty enough to justify buying two.
I second the cherimoya. They are terrifying. From the outside, it looks like scaly leathery monster skin, and the inside is a creamy white, slightly alien-pulpy flesh full of weird, huge, extremely sharp black seeds. The flesh tastes somehow like banana, pineapple, and strawberries, but all creamy. Mmm.
"Evidently, this bloated piece of Oscar-nominated nonsense was a big hit in Denmark, which makes me think there's a glittering future in that otherwise discriminating country for several seasons of Days of Our Lives."
This review from Rotten Tomatoes made me giggle. I have often wondered if the television programs other nations take completely for granted would be taken for high art here and vice versa. Isn't Baywatch shown all over the world? Do they appreciate it more than we ever could?
Hey speaking of Dogma 95 -- has anyone here seen The Celebration? Recommend it?
Yeah, I've seen it. Barely remember it, but it was, uh, dramatic and not a pick-me-up.
I can never resist eating something new.
You should come visit some time.
There's always the durian, a fruit described as "French custard passed through a sewer".
There is even a mediocre movie in which durian is a major plot element.
I too was tempted by this "fruit"; but the internet saved me:
