You've been known to play some noise before, B-Wo, but sheesh. . . .
John Stanier is unfuckingstoppable.
Battles? Helmet? Hey John, save some awesome for the rest of us.
You know, this would be a lot cooler if the livestream actually, you know, worked.
Yeah, well, I didn't know about that problem until I got here. It is, however, being recorded. Unfortunately this means that my dedication of "Squirrel Of God" to catherine is going to go without being understood.
I saw the battles last night. They are pretty awesome live.
Fuckers at Slim's took my Sharpie, and I got to overhear part of the most idiotic conversation ever, between an idiot and her even more idiotic and toolish boyfriend (who at one point resorted to "I'm older than you" as an argument). I'm too old for rock concerts: all that standing up and being pressed between people, I just can't take it anymore.
Slims isn't a good place to see a concert. There is something weird about the layout.
It is also weird that they pat everyone down before they let people come in.
Getting patted down is something I associate with $40+ ticket prices. I conclude that San Francisco is sorely lacking in decent venues.
Rock shows really bring out the hate of my fellow man in me.
all that standing up and being pressed between people, I just can't take it anymore.
Guess Catherine and I will have to cancel those threesome plans, then.
I am much more likely to see a band at the Great American Music Hall because the venue is so pleasant.
The bottom of the Hill and the mezzanine are good as well but the concerts end way too late.
Must the threesomes be standing up?
I will brook no threesome limitations.
Here's a playlist, if you're interested. A recording to be uploaded later.
1 & 2: exactly right. w-lfs-n's obviously slipping.
True. But I'm looking forward to hearing the recorded show, so I'm a jerk who cares.
Recordings posted, but please don't download them until tomorrow.
Want to watch sonething cool? Armstrong and Kaye sing "When the Saints Go Marching in", subtitled in Dutch.
Young w-lfs-n, your coelacanth seems to be timing out on requests for your recordings. Is this to be expected? Did "until tomorrow" mean "until late in the day tomorrow" or something like that?
(or "until hell freezes over")
As the text says:
The shows are served from my computer, which is generally only on when I'm awake, meaning that if it's late at night or early in the morning (where "early" could potentially mean "before 10:30") on the west coast, it's unlikely that you'll be able to download anything.
